How to Unlock World Quests on the Coiled Isle

Reaching the Coiled Isle is not enough by itself. World Quests are tied to later Curse of Ula'tek campaign progression.

Before expecting markers on the map, make sure the account has access to the island, the campaign character has reached the required chapter, and the relevant follow-up quests are complete. Progress Through the 12.1 Campaign

Continue the campaign quests shown in the quest log rather than waiting for World Quest markers to appear. The markers are a reward for campaign progress, not the trigger that begins it.

If your quest log appears empty, return to the last campaign NPC or check the campaign section for an untracked chapter. Players on alts should confirm that they are in the correct phase and that the account has earned the prerequisite access.

Complete the Required Campaign Chapter

Current live guidance identifies Original Sin as the required campaign checkpoint before the World Quest unlock sequence continues. Finish the full chapter and allow the campaign log to update.

Do not stop after the final objective merely disappears. Check for the next campaign step, reload if the completion was recent, and make sure a follow-up has not been accepted but left untracked.

Complete the Altar of Fangs Follow-Up

After the required chapter, continue the campaign follow-up that sends you into Altar of Fangs. Complete the dungeon objective as the quest requests, then turn it in and continue the story.

The dungeon step is part of the unlock chain; merely entering or completing Altar of Fangs before receiving the relevant campaign quest may not satisfy the objective. Track the campaign quest during the run and confirm its status before leaving.

Finish the Unlock Quest

Account-wide access does not mark every related campaign quest complete on every character. An alt can still have different story progress, phasing, or quest rewards even when the map activities are available.

World Quests Not Showing?

Check these failure points in order:

1. Confirm the character can access the Coiled Isle and is in the live 12.1 phase.
2. Verify that Original Sin is fully complete, not simply near its final step.
3. Confirm the Altar of Fangs objective was completed while the correct campaign quest was active.
4. Turn in the dungeon quest and finish the subsequent unlock step.
