Quick strategy

Positioning and major mechanics

Keep the boss stable and place persistent hazards toward an edge that does not cut the group off from the next safe area. Move deliberately when the encounter creates rings or lanes; Sszorak's associated achievement, Jumping Through Hoops, confirms that ring interactions are part of the encounter space on Normal or higher.

Tank, healer, and DPS jobs

• Tanks: agree on the swap trigger shown in the live journal, keep the boss facing away from the group, and avoid moving during another player's targeted mechanic.
• Healers: reserve raid cooldowns for predictable overlap windows and spot-heal players completing movement mechanics.
• DPS: interrupt or switch targets when the journal calls for it, hold movement abilities for forced repositioning, and finish mechanics before resuming the damage plan.

Common wipes

The most preventable failures are stacking hazards in the next safe lane, moving through another player, missing a required target swap, or spending major cooldowns before a high-pressure overlap.

Bloodlust and difficulty notes

Use Bloodlust/Heroism at the pull only when it does not conflict with a more demanding later phase in your difficulty. Raid Finder reduces or removes some coordination checks; Heroic and Mythic can add assignments. Verify those differences in the live journal after hotfixes.
