BRIGANDINE ABYSS Walkthrough & Beginner Guide
Start a BRIGANDINE ABYSS campaign with a spoiler-light route through mode choice, Organization Phase, troop building, early expansion, and recovery.
Answer first
Quick Answer
For a reliable BRIGANDINE ABYSS opening, choose the mode and faction objective you want to learn, use the Organization Phase to form legal troops before expanding, protect the borders you cannot afford to lose, and make one low-risk move at a time. The game presents different Story and Mission goals, so treat the selected objective and live map as the source of truth instead of following an invented chapter route.

How to Use This Walkthrough
This is a spoiler-light first-hours route, not a fabricated chapter-by-chapter script. Keep the selected faction's objective visible, read the live map before each commitment, and use the game's prompts when a campaign-specific condition differs from this general route.
First 30 Minutes
Choose Story Mode if you want a guided campaign, or choose Mission Mode only after reading that nation's objective. In the first Organization Phase, inspect the starting leaders, troops, borders, and available actions before attempting an expansion. The most useful early result is a stable front and a clear next objective.
Organization Phase Priorities
- Confirm the current victory condition.
- Build legal troops with leaders and monsters that can operate together.
- Cover exposed borders before spending resources on a distant opportunity.
- Use development, contracts, recovery, or exploration only when they serve the immediate objective.
Do not assume a strong-looking single unit makes an underfilled troop safe. Formation, command limits, and the number of borders still matter.
How to Build Early Troops
Give each troop one job: defend a border, take a low-risk target, or support a second force. Start with roles you can explain and improve them gradually. Use Monster Squad Building for composition choices rather than copying a fixed roster from a different faction.
Early Expansion Strategy
Expand only after checking what must remain behind. A low-risk target is worth taking when it improves your position without exposing a core border or leaving a key leader unable to respond. In Mission Mode, the objective may make expansion less valuable than development, defense, collection, or another stated condition.
How to Win Battles Early
Read the map, establish a defendable lane, and prioritize the enemy action that threatens your formation or objective. Preserve a troop that would otherwise be needed next turn; a technically won fight can still be a poor trade if it makes the next border impossible to hold.
How to Manage Leaders and Monsters
Use leaders where their command and role matter most, then build monster squads around the task at hand. Rotate damaged forces before they become a forced loss, and avoid moving every useful unit toward the same attack lane.
What to Do After a Loss
Check the loss against the objective and map instead of restarting automatically. Rebuild the border plan, recover a legal troop, and identify whether the failure came from an exposed front, a mismatched squad, or a mission condition you did not prioritize. One recovery turn is often safer than a second rushed attack.
FAQ
Is this a full story walkthrough?
No. Story outcomes and exact chapter steps are intentionally omitted. Follow the live campaign and mission prompts for faction-specific progression.
Should beginners start in Story or Mission Mode?
Story Mode is the clearer place to learn the systems. Mission Mode is best once you are comfortable reading a faction-specific objective.
What should I read next?
Choose a start with Best Faction, then compare Story vs Mission Mode and refine troops with Monster Squad Building.
